Manufacturer Approved FAQ'S
Manufacturer Approval (or OEM approval): It comes from the vehicle manufacturer, based on audits, engineering reviews, and compliance with their standards. E.g. Isuzu or Toyota for our ATAT and 4×4 Mewp.
Type Approval: This is a legal certification process that ensures a vehicle or vehicle conversion meets national and EU standards for safety, emissions, and roadworthiness. It’s granted by a government authority or certification body, like the DVSA in the UK.

Ask your supplier directly and request documentation. Approved converters are usually listed on the vehicle manufacturer’s official body builder programme. CPL, for example, is an IVECO and Toyota-approved converter with full Type Approval.
