Innovation on Display: What We Showcased at the CPL Open Day 2025
The CPL Open Day 2025 was a chance for customers, partners, and colleagues across the Access & Recovery industries to come together and see innovation in action. Held at our Kettering facility, the event brought a packed schedule of demonstrations, new product reveals, and live conversations with the people who build, use, and support our platforms every day.
From first-time visitors to long-standing customers, the atmosphere was all about sharing ideas, learning from each other, and seeing how the latest CPL, ISOLI and KLUBB Group technology is helping teams work safer and smarter at height.
Introducing New KLUBB Group and ISOLI Models to the UK Market
One of the most talked-about displays at the CPL Open Day was the showcase of KLUBB Group’s new insulated truck mounts, engineered for use on up to 46kV applications. Designed to offer the highest levels of safety and precision when working around live lines, these vehicles highlight KLUBB’s expertise in producing advanced, specialist access solutions for the utilities sector.
Guests were able to take a close look at the impressive build quality and technical innovation behind these models, with plenty of interest from operators working in energy and infrastructure. The introduction of these insulated platforms reinforces CPL’s commitment to supporting safer, more capable solutions for teams working at height. Check out the E18P (18.5m insulated boom) and E15P2 (14.5m insulated boom).

The CPL Recovery team also drew plenty of attention with their CPL x ISOLI display, featuring the 12T Flatbed MAN Recovery Truck. Combining Italian engineering excellence with CPL’s hands-on expertise, this recovery solution is built to deliver both strength and precision in equal measure.
Visitors had the chance to explore the vehicle, learn more about ISOLI’s renowned design standards, and see how CPL Recovery continues to grow as part of the KLUBB Group network. The partnership demonstrates how innovation and engineering know-how can come together to create smarter, safer, and more capable recovery solutions for UK operators.
Live Demonstrations at CPL
Throughout the day, our yard was alive with live demonstrations of CPL MEWPs and the best-selling Tipper truck, shown in action by Max Jelliman from our team. These demos gave visitors the chance to experience the fast setup times and safety features that make CPL’s vehicle-mounted platforms a trusted choice across multiple industries.
Guests were encouraged to climb inside the vehicles, operate the controls under supervision, and see for themselves how each build delivers performance backed by real-world practicality.
Industry Partners and Exhibitors
No CPL Open Day would be complete without the support of our trusted partners. We were proud to welcome:
- IPAF, promoting safety and training across the powered access sector.
- System Edström, showcasing their innovative van racking and storage systems.
- Access Hire, presenting flexible hire solutions for businesses across the UK.
- Almac and Palazzani, who brought along some of their latest models for guests to explore up close.
Their presence added extra value to the day, giving visitors a well-rounded look at the products and people shaping our industry.

Good Food and Great Conversations
Of course, it wouldn’t be a CPL event without a bit of hospitality. Our CPL Support Team were on hand throughout the day to welcome visitors and answer questions, while Jude’s Kitchen kept everyone fuelled with top-quality burgers and refreshments from their brilliant food van.
Between demonstrations and discussions, guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and had plenty of time to network, ask questions, and share experiences with other professionals.
