CPL want you to meet the team – We begin with the Process

CPL, part of the Klubb Group, have been working tirelessly to ensure we are always improving our service, quality and processes.

We want you to meet the team to get a true understanding of CPL, what we are about and who we all are, because each member of the team here plays their part in our company.

To kick things off, we start at the beginning, with the Process department.

Zsolt Havasi leads the team with his extensive knowledge of quality and processes.

How long have you been with CPL?  I’ve been with CPL for almost 2 and a half years now.

What is your career history? Sanmina Hungary LTD., Alpine Electronics Manufacturing of Europe LTD.

What jobs have you previously had? Assembly Engineering supervisor, Backend Process Engineer, Test Engineer, Production Engineer, Product Engineer. So I have working within multiple areas to get a true understanding of the correct processes needed to ensure structure and a good quality end product.

What is your job at CPL? Process Management Specialist. I ensure there is a process for everything we do here. This way everyone is working to the same standards. I will role out the process and then meet with the production team. We can see if something is not working properly this way and change it.

Education? Kando Kalman Polytechnic, Course in Electrical Engineering

What are your main goals/aims as Process Management Specialist at CPL? My main goal is to implement the LEAN production in line with company objectives. This process is tried and tested so I think it is a good place to aim for. This takes time and cannot work overnight but, we are heading in the right direction.

How do you intend to reach your goals at CPL? To ensure we have the strongest processes throughout the company, we started small. We implement small changes daily and it does not take long to see the small changes turning into big positive ones. Every day/ every week I add another small change to the processes and this way it is not overwhelming for the team.

What are the best parts of your job here? Constant change – product/process improvement. There are always improvements to be made to ensure we are the best we can be.

What is the most difficult part of your job here? Constant change is also the most difficult. The role is never ending as we are constantly reviewing the way we do everything. I have to make sure we are on top of it all the time.
