Read about our customers experience of the CPL Tipper Truck (ATAT)

CPL recently had an enquiry for one of our market leading tipper trucks the CPL Tipper Truck (ATAT).

The potential customer needed an off road vehicle that could tow 3.5t and had enough payload to ensure that they could carry a good amount of chippings without being over weight.

The CPL ATAT was the perfect solution for this. The Isuzu D-Max chassis with a strong steel frame and lightweight aluminium body is upgraded to a 3.5t suspension. This allows for 1300Kg payload. The prospective customer could now use the same vehicle to deliver logs using the one vehicle rather than having to pay out for a second.

The CPL tipper truck is also equipped with two secure storage lockers. One is an easily accessible 10Kg locker situated behind the drivers side of the conversion. It is a perfect easy access solution for either a First Aid kit or a 50/50 can. There is also a large 180Kg locker mounted behind the vehicle cab. This is fully lockable and has been designed specifically for Tree surgery equipment and PPE. The locker work can be anodised in a number of colours to prolong the start look of the overall conversion. This is something that the customer opted for along with the silver paint work on the Isuzu chassis.

The customer ordered their CPL ATAT with chapter 8 chevrons on the rear, a set of cab and rear beacons and a ladder rack. This allowed the conversion to be put straight to work when delivered to the customer. We have had feedback from the customer and who told us the vehicle gives the perfect first impression when quoting for new customers but is also a useful work horse.
