Our customer has purchased a number of K26 1 man platforms to enable them to fit overhead fibre cable.

The 3.5t K26 Renault Van mounts have a working height of 11.8m and an outreach of 6.8m. The safe working load in the basket is 120Kg, designed for 1 man and tools and the conversion has no outriggers.

The director of the company came to our show earlier in the year and was immediately impressed with this innovation. It is exactly what they need to carry out their work within a specific timescale.

The van-mounted platforms compact size prevents disturbance to traffic and pedestrians when it is parked. The cutaway version allows for much easier maneuverability which means it is less likely to be bumped in the busy streets of the city. This is a very important aspect when the customer is working close to main roads.

This 1 man platform has also been designed without the need for outriggers. No outriggers mean that the operator can quickly set up the machine and carry out the work in a very short amount of time.
