CPL build over 500 Access conversions in 2022

CPL are proud to announce that in 2022, the production team built over 500 access conversions, and several of the CPL ATAT.

In 2021 the company built a total of 370 conversions making this last year a record breaking one, and a substantial improvement.

One of the main points, is that there were many more of the cutaway design sold, which is one of the most time consuming builds within the portfolio. We are extremely proud of our production team for their hard work and dedication.

The target for 2023 is 700+ which is going to be a challenge, but we have a very strong process and quality team leading the way. This ensures that with volume, comes the same great quality we are known for. This has been cemented with our recent conversion approvals from Ford.

At the moment CPL have enough sold units to build 15 per week until 2024. This means that if you’re considering purchasing an access conversion, it would be beneficial for you to contact us as soon as possible. The sales team will guide you through the process and ensure you are purchasing the best conversion for your type of work at height.

Within the range, we have a solution for everything. From the Almac scissor and spider lifts popular for maintenance and the Arborist sector, to truck and chassis mounts for large projects with working heights up to 90m.

We have van mounted platforms from 11.2m up to 14.6m. These can be standard vans with traditional outriggers, or the cutaway version with no legs. This design enables a quick set up and stow away as there is no time waiting for the feet to lower. The shorter length of the conversion is also very beneficial when maneuvering in busy streets. The main sectors we see these units sold into are Rental and Maintenance, due to the versatility of the machines and the space for a mobile workshop.

The Pick up mounted platforms are also very popular across all sectors. The 4 wheel drive allows access to any terrain and the working height of over 13m is plenty for all street lighting, signage etc.

If you would like to discuss your requirements with us, we are here to help. Just send an enquiry and one of our team will contact you.
