We had a launch celebration on Friday, 9 June, to showcase to our staff members our brand-new site four, where we house our sales and marketing team and are building a display room for our incredible assortment of products. This launch celebration introduced a number of benefits for CPL staff, including our new HR App, Employment Hero, to save paper consumption, but most importantly to enable everyone to have their documentation and credentials in one place and request their annual leave days.
The HR app is a significant investment in our employees since it gives us the opportunity to hear their honest feedback on how we might improve their working environment. We value all feedback, not only that of our consumers. As a result, the quick and easy procedure of obtaining feedback will enable us to learn and take action right away.
Additionally, we are putting our employees’ health first by working with MediCash to provide our team rapid calls from medical specialists as well as cash back alternatives for crucial and essential health tests and treatments. By removing the stress and expenses associated with their health, we can guarantee that our personnel will advance in their positions and truly enjoy what they do.
Recent global events have created a cost of living crisis, which has undoubtedly had a negative financial and mental health impact on everyone. Despite this, we see the problem and have taken steps to address it. To ensure that our employees are paid a salary that covers their basic requirements, we have partnered with the Living Wage Foundation – we want to go above and beyond the government minimum since our people are our company’s greatest asset.
It is a proven fact that nobody likes to work on their birthday. So, in order to achieve our aim of having contented employees, CPL is now giving employees an extra day off on their birthday enabling them to truly take enjoyment in their special day.
According to our CEO Paul Murphy, “We spend on average a third of our lives at work,” and at CPL, we want that time to be the best it can be. As a result, we’ve implemented these changes and new benefits for our employees in an effort to foster the happiest work environment possible, lessen stress, and enable our employees to reach their full potential.
