This week we talk to the Operations Manager about her missions at CPL.

CPL, part of the Klubb Group, have been working tirelessly to ensure we are always improving our service, quality and processes.

This week we met with Nikolett Junger, CPL’s Operations Manager.

How long have you been with CPL?   I have been working with CPL for 2 and a half years

What is your job at CPL?  I am the Operations Manager. My job is to make sure that everything runs smoothly. This is a great task but i enjoy it and i want CPL products to continue to be a success with my leadership.

What is your history? I started my career as a CNC machine operator at Borgwarner Turbo Systems in Hungary. After a year I was promoted to a team leader and maintenance technician. I had a 15 person team and a few machines to look after. Then I changed my career path to process engineering, I worked as a process engineer for 7 years.

I moved to the UK 3 years ago. Here I had to start again to build a career. I was working as a warehouse operative for a year when I found CPL. I started as a fitter, I’ve been an electrician, a quality inspector. And here we are, Operations Manager.

What jobs have you previously had? I’ve previously worked as a process engineer at CTDI Hungary LTD for 4 years and also spent 2 years as a process engineer at Sanmina Hungary.

What are your main goals/aims as the Operations Manager? Keep the business efficient, ensure overall quality (aim to make the highest quality products possible), customer orders are filled on schedule. Happy customers, happy employees.

How do you intend to reach your goals at CPL? We are currently working hard to sort all processes in the company. Re organisation is necessary to ensure we are efficient. This can be disruptive short term but, it is crucial for a successful outcome.

What are the best parts of your job here? The best part of my job is the diversity. I am involved in every process and I work with everyone in the company at some point. I find the technology we are producing fascinating and I learn something new every day.

What is the most difficult part of your job here? The most tasking part of the job is ensuring all of our staff  are fully trained and understand our processes. This can be difficult as we are growing bigger and bigger.
