The Confor Woodland Show is a highly anticipated event that brings together forestry professionals, enthusiasts, and industry leaders from around the world. Held in a picturesque woodland setting, it showcases the latest advancements in sustainable forestry practices, technological innovations in the field, and discussions on crucial topics like biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, and responsible timber management. For this years Confor event, CPL have a range of access platforms and vehicle conversions for all aspects of Forestry and Arborist activities. Across stands L8 & L14 there will be the market leading CPL ATAT. A firm favourite in chipping and log movements, the All Terrain Arb Trucks are type approved with a 3.5t suspension upgrade and all terrain tyres. They can hold up to 1300kg in the bucket, and have storage lockers for 190kg of equipment. These can be mounted on the Isuzu D-Max or Toyota Hilux and can be fitted with a multitude of accessories including; beacons, a ladder rack, company livery and a reverse camera.
CPL’s leading pick up mount will be on stand for demonstration. The 13.1m all terrain platform is used by the top utility companies and subcontractors for clearances. Its all terrain characteristics allow it to access all terrains making it both versatile and efficient.
For hard to reach areas, CPL will demonstrate the Palfinger P200 at this years Confor. This 20m working height chassis mount is used by numerous arborist teams across the country. The pantograph boom allows operation close to buildings and structures. You can move up and down parallel with only one operator. Along with the basket slew option, which allows you to always be in the best position. The basket has a safe working load of 250Kg ensuring the operator can take equipment to height and there is the option of a chainsaw holder attachment for security.
AlmaCrawlers range of tracked boomlifts will impress the most experienced climbers with their superb technology. These machines are self levelling, can be driven at up to 7m and can operate on both rough terrain and steep slopes. CPL will demonstrate the ability of these dynamic machines using ramps with over leveling up to 20 ° longitude and 15 ° latitude.
The newest arrival within the CPL range is the Dino. This 22m tracked spider is also equipped with automatic levelling, and is partnered with its own trailer which are well below the 3.5t maximum train weight.
