CPL are proud to showcase the new K32 van mount design
CPL have designed a new K32 van mount with the help of Renault Truck for Telecoms leaders.
The K32 van mount has fast become a leader in our range as it has been designed with no outriggers, this has given the conversion an outstanding payload. CPL and Renault Truck have worked with telecoms leaders Rivus and Openreach to design a 4.5t cutaway version of the K32. Working closely with all parties allows for the best possible solution for their work at height.
The type approved van mount platform boasts a working height of 12.3m and a working outreach of 6.9m. The K32 van mount has been built to cater for a 1 man team with a 120kg safe working load in the basket. This aspect along with the no outrigger design makes it a speedy set up and cost saving option.
Due to the miles covered by these teams we suggested a hybrid conversion. This consists of a diesel Renault Master and a battery powered Green Pack boom. The boom can be operated with the engine switched off. Not only is this better for the environment, it is a silent function and is again cost saving. Take a look at our previous article highlighting the savings made from a Green Pack boom here.
We would like to thank Rich Abercrombie from Openreach for providing us with the stunning images of the K32 van mount.
