CPL handover a new style of Van MEWP

CPL have today handed over a K26 Van MEWP fleet to Europump.

Europump approached us looking for a new solution for the maintenance of petrol stations across the UK. They had some older 5t Sprinter van mewps on their fleet but it was time for something new.

They had 4x 5T sprinters on their fleet which were due to be replaced. We worked closely with the company to provide the best equipment for their work at height. After some advice, they chose to purchase four of our K26 Renault Masters. With a 3.5t GTW all engineers are able to drive this model. The design boasts an 11.8m Working height and a 6.5m working outreach. The cutaway design makes the vehicle much easier to manoeuvre in tight fuel stations and on the roads. This along with the no outrigger design, adds a great deal of payload for carrying maintenance equipment.

The company wanted a full turnkey purchase so we made sure they were ready to go straight to work from or factories. We designed the new vinyl graphics for the fleet as you can see in the image. These will stand out among any crowd of access platforms with the stylish black paint option and bright livery.

We also fitted the corner beacons, reversing camera, electricity feed in the basket and full poly interior lining here at CPL. The turnkey process we can provide makes it simple for you to order your access platforms, even with minimal knowledge of this type of equipment.

The team of engineers came to CPL this morning and drove the new van MEWP fleet straight to work. We look forward to hearing about their experience with this updated equipment.

Due to the number of miles these engineers cover, they opted for a standard diesel van. The K26 is also available as a fully electric vehicle mounted platform. With the Renault Master ZE as a base model, we can also fit a boom that runs off battery power.
